I posted  Hope you don't mind me sharing this near the beginning of my journey and then  Liposarcoma - have moved from Pre-diagnosis 

I don't remember how I came across this forum but I am very glad that I did, for all the support and empathy that I have received since the summer of last year.

    I had intended to post something more, and in Introducing myself, or even Moving On. Never mind.

    I am in my mid-70s and had major surgery in a top cancer hospital last November to remove a large sarcoma which necessitated removing a kidney, the spleen, part of the pancreas and part of the bowel. My second post (above) and this are to give hope to others.

    I've moved your post into the Moving On section which I hope is ok with you.

    I also wanted to reply to thank you for sharing your story with the aim of giving hope to others who may find themselves in a similar situation. We know that these kinds of posts can be really helpful to new forum members and I'm sure that your experiences will be valuable to someone in the future.
