I had bowel cancer 9 years ago. Had a right hemicolectomy and also diagnosed with unamed mixed polyposis syndrome. 14 colonoscopies later and 70 ish polyps removed ,a new rectocele buddy ,gluten and lactose intolerances I felt OK, mostly good.
Then out of the blue one or two drops of blood and down the rabbit hole I go ,but not colon cancer. This time womb cancer. Had a radical hysterectomy in April nfollowed by a serious infection - stoma bag on one of the laproscopic incision sites, draining it 3 times a day was not fun.
Now completely recovered ,surgery was curative. But I have my annual surveillance colonoscopy in 2 days time and can't help but think it's going to be bad news.
