  • Hi Jengaz49, I was diagnosed with breast cancer just over 2 years ago. I had a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction. I am on Tamoxifen hormone therapy but did not need chemotherapy or radiotherap I struggle with anxiety so much more since my diagnosis. I have periods where it verges on PTSD. It is so difficult to get through these days. I recently had more reconstruction surgery that I feel as added to my fatigue which has not helped my mood. Friends and family have expressed I should be happy because I am alive. These are people who have not been through a cancer diagnosis and do not derstand. It is not as black and white as that. Have you read the article by Peter Harvey, titled after the treatment finishes ..... then waht. It sums up alot of feelings and emotions post treatmen   It's on line so take a look. Its quite lengthy but helped me to realise I was not going mad . I wish you the best with your journey.
