Brands of Tamoxifen - Side Effects

I’ve been on Tamoxifen since March 23 without any issues but since Dec have been having issues with recurring thrush that doesn’t clear up despite meds.

GP did swabs last week and suggested that it could be the brand of Tamoxifen that’s causing this issue.

Has anyone else had this issue and what brands of Tamoxifen don’t have this side effect

    It's good to hear you've spoken to your GP about this. Hopefully they've given you further advice about what to do to ease this.

    In the meantime, if others here have similar experience or thoughts to share then hopefully you'll get some more replies soon.

    I started tamoxifen Jan 2024 and since then I have developed thrush. Doctor took a swab and gave me canisten cream and tablet….. no effect… since then I’ve had more medication for it. 
    I’m still trying to work out how I feel on this drug, before January I was on Letrosol for 5 Years. That seemed to be ok.

    Today the itch has gone but I feel as though I have a discharge. I’ll give it another couple of weeks then go back to doctors if it persists.

    At least your not alone with thiis problem… I thought I would just share my thought with you.
