I am glad to hear that you have now finished treatment. Although I can understand how you feel, I have lived with 2 cancer diagnoses in the past 16 years and I have discovered that it is better for our mental stability, if we can appreciate any advancement, no matter how small.
The fear of a recurrence lives with us for the rest of our days and we have to learn to live with that. It does take some time to come to terms with this, but we only get one chance at life and we may as well live it to the full, instead of letting "what ifs" rule. If you can find a positive outlook on all that you've experienced, you will discover that it is much easier to cope with.
Here's hoping that you will get the all clear in 3 months - there's a strong possibility that you will.
