I had a right hemicolectomy in 2021 and luckily it was all removed. My colonoscopy in May was clear and so was my CEA test.  I have now developed symptoms of anaemia and had a blood test on Thursday. Awaiting results.  I am worried that this is a sign that cancer has returned. Has anyone experienced  Anaemia 17 months after cancer which hasn't been a recurrence? Are there other reasons?  I'm so worried

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I hope you are getting on OK - I can understand your concerns and I hope it's not too long to wait to find out more.

    Your doctor will be best placed to advise, once you can get the results and have an opportunity to talk things through.

    In the meantime, hopefully you'll get some more replies here soon, particularly from anyone with any similar experience to share.
