I have had a lumpectomy and a double mastectomy. That was 14 years ago. I still get the itch, but I have been prescribed Eurax cream for it. This doesn't stop the pain completely, but it eases it and helps me to get back to sleep. I have also been prescribed antihistamines for this problem. Please have a word with your breast care nurse for advice.

It’s just in one place also I get a lot of pressure as well I’m waiting to have my other breast removed as that hasn’t got cancer I have to wait to have that one removed.
I'm surprised that your surgeon is willing to offer you a mastectomy for the good breast. They are usually reluctant to remove a benign breast, as they say that it is pointless to remove a healthy one and doesn't improve our chances. Was there any reason why you didn't have both removed at the same time? Have they given you a time scale for your second operation yet?
