  • Anyone ??

  • My neighbour had this problem. All she can manage now is Lambrini. She says at least getting drunk is now cheap!

thanks so much for reply I will try this xx

    big hugs love Lara ️

  • She used to take her own bottle if meeting up with friends at their homes/barbecues etc although I think one glass was enough to make her drunk still. Not sure pubs stock it or what the solution is when in a pub or club. I have a similar problem with medication (non-cancer) that I'm on so do understand how annoying and frustrating not being able to simply drink as one wishes can be! I'm not supposed to have alchohol at all (sigh). Suggest you try a single glass at home perhaps and then see if you can push it any further maybe. It's not a great position to be in. So am sending you hugs and sympathy. xx

thank you so much for that

yes I could usually have a few glasses when out for dinner before diagnosis and tamoxifen now I'm a wimp drinker lol I used to be the last one standing now I'm first one lol , it's not fair but deffo not worth the hangover from tamoxifen and it's only been 2 drinks in 6 months not much to ask but suppose it's the way it is for me now .

I will have to have a shandy next time

    how are you ?

  • Shandy might be a good compromise... Good luck with it all.

I'm doing much better now, thank you. Though one of my children has a cancer surgery coming up, which always makes me a bit nervous. Maybe a good thing I can't hit the bottle...

    Love, Rose x
