Contrast x ray result

Hi

I had rectal surgery in July and a contrast xray three weeks ago. Just wondering how long the results of the xray might take?

I rang my consultants secretary last week who said the consultant hasnt seen the xray report yet. The x ray is to see if the join has healed and if I can go onto the list for an ileostomy reversal waiting list.

How long have others waited for a result?

    The length of time results may take to come back can differ depending on what part of the country you're in but hopefully it won't be too much longer now until your results come through.

    Our members know how scary and anxious this time can be so I'm sure some of them will share their experiences with you soon but in the meantime, we're sending all our support your way and will have our fingers crossed for good news.
