  • Hi nannychrissy47,

I can certainly understand how you are feeling, and I'm sure it's something that many others on here will have experienced.

Often the best way to deal with this is by distraction - focusing on other things, things that keep you busy and also that you enjoy. Keeping your mind off the worries may not make the worries go away, but it should help things to be a little more manageable.

Hopefully others will also reply with further advice. And of course we're always here for support on the forum whenever you may need it - it's often helpful simply to write things down and to reach out to others who understand.

    Wishing you all the best,

  • Hi Chrissy

Sorry to hear about the scanxiety - great that you're cancer free.  Have you thought about CBT- mindfulness, there are lot's of free online courses, the NHS one looks good - entitled 'Therapy For You'- it covers a range of things including panic attacks. It's at www.therapyforyou.co.uk/.../online.

    All the best
