Hello,

I was diagnosed with a uterine pecoma 6 years ago following a hysterectomy due to ongoing pain and a huge mass of fibroids. I was advised to have my ovaries out as the tumour showed signs of malignancy, which I did 6 months later.  I didn't have any further treatment after but have had fairly regular MRI scans since. My consultant is implying that I don't need to have these scans much anymore, but I have read that it is common for pecomas to return many years later. Please can I ask how long others have been monitored for following a malignant tumour. Thank you so much! X
