Stopped Tamoxifen after ten years now dizzy

Hi

I stopped tamoxifen in January this year after being on it for ten years.  After nearly a year of no periods I have had two awful ones since stopping the tamoxifen, one lasted a whole month!!   I'm having horrid breast pain (recent check up with Consultant and nothing untoward).  I'm Now having awful lightheaded spells.  Today it's lasted pretty much all day.  Is anyone else having this problem? Thank you x

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some health concerns after coming off Tamoxifen. It's good to hear that the Consultant didn't have any concerns about your breasts although that doesn't help with the pain. 

    Have you spoken with your GP about the dizzy spells you've been having? It's definitely worth speaking to them if you've not already as there could be any number of relatively simple causes for this symptom. 

    I really do hope that the breast pain improves as your hormones settle. Let us know how you get on with the GP.
