Hi Chrissy
Don’t worry-ask as many questions as you like! I was bleeding for a few months before I actually went to the doctor, so I was really stupid not getting it seen to. Sometimes heavy but not every single day. I had a hysteroscopy with a couple of biopsies and bled very heavily..it was literally pouring out but lessened after a couple of days and wasn’t so heavy. I didn’t get it packed though.
Then until my treatment started I had regular bleeding and it didn’t stop completely until I had been through my first 10 radiotherapy sessions.
hello again, what part ofthe country are you from, i live in evesham worcester. but originate from wes yourkshire. did you not feel week, i do at the moment.I contacted my gp and told her what happened(i suddenly started bleeding on the friday morning) my periods stopped 25 years ago so of course i was terrified.they did fast track me i have to say the staff at the hospital have been wonderful. i was told this cancer could have been growing inside of me for 15/20 years and not shown any symptoms.

Hi Chrissy
I live in Nottinghamshire, a few miles across the border from Yorkshire-a wonderful part of the country! I had a lot of pain by the time I was showing cancer symptoms. This is typically a slow growing cancer and can be developing over many years before it shows symptoms, but once I started having symptoms, like pain, it was pretty constant. I was fast tracked as soon as I saw the doctor and things moved quite quickly with scans and biopsies. I wish I’d gone to the doctor sooner, but nothing I can do about that now-you did the right thing getting in touch with your doctor quickly.
hello there, do you know i never ever thought i was going to be going down this route, honestly thought i had enough problems in my life but there you go. i had no symptoms at all untill i started bleeding, but i think slowly the physical symptoms have started appearing. i still am really in this mind set that all this is happening to someone else. do you have a family? i have accumalated rather a large one, who i might add are all so supportive, esp my daughter.p.s are you on facebook?

Hello Chrissy
I accepted your friend request so will send you a message and we can go from there. x
ok that is very kind of you.x
So my response is to the question asked.which was will.you be entitled to more benefit because of your diagnosis? I wonder if you have been in receipt of PIP following the stroke? As you maybe know that is given in relation to the daily.care needs you have as a result of diagnosis. So if you are perhaps on standard rate care there may be an argument to be made that your needs are at the enhanced level. Of course before you can claim I think you have to have been affected for at least 3 months ( but best check. Benefits and Work is a good site) and be likely to be affected for at least 9 months. You can ask the DWP to review your case in view of your new situation.. The Will.look at your claim as if it were new. Your benefit could go up, down or be removed. Forgive me I have not read everyone's replies and have only considered your question. I see however that some are mentioning bleeding that can occur...I would think.depending on how this affects a person's life and due to the anxiety caused when this may occur when out it public there might be a possibility of making a claim for standard rate mobility..I hope this helps. All.the best going through the process of being diagnosed with cervical cancer.
thankyou for your reply, it is something i will consider down the line. im still in shock at the moment.x
