Holiday insurance - struggling to get insurance

I have inoperable lung cancer but treatable regular scans 4-5 months and bloods taken  why do insurance people like staysure say they can not insure??i havent had treatment for over a year now thank heavens always worried it will spread again but last scan was good just dont understand why these companys wont insure if you have had the all clear on last scan for 5 months at least plus i know ther are insurance company (dont know who yet) but the fee is over £1000 which seems silly almost price of a holiday anyone know any different..

    That is very frustrating indeed! I am so pleased to hear your last scan was good and you certainly deserve a holiday now. I hope you can find good travel insurance options. That fee sounds indeed extortionate. There is information on our website here about getting travel insurance which I hope you will find helpful.

    I hope that you hear from others on the forum who have been in a similar situation previously and that they will be along shortly to share travel insurance tips with you.
