Can anyone give me any advice on getting life insurance after cancer? I had breast cancer, DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) and was told that I have the same chance of getting cancer again as the average person. Insurance companies just hear "cancer" and you're immediately ruled out.  I don't work, have very little personal pension and my hubby will need money when the time comes. Also, how do you get a financial advisor and what does that cost? Any advice welcome.
