Will

I have no assets, no nothing, I have terminal cancer, bone and liver and currently having chemotherapy treatment. Should I still make a will? I have previously discussed it with my palative care team however they have not mentioned it since they last visited me

  • Hi Kezaa and welcome to the Cancer Chat community.

Having a will ensures your wishes are followed after your death and prevents your loved ones from having to make difficult decisions so it may be worth getting one in place for these reasons alone.

Macmillan have some information and advice about wills just here but it may be worth having a look at the list of common questions that pop up when making a will on our website. You're welcome to have a look at the free will writing service we offer as well.

I really hope this helps you figure out what to do but if you're still unsure do be sure to talk things through again with your palliative care team.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
