does anyone know if you can fly after radiotherapy on one's ear? a family member is having 6 weeks radiotherapy and then flying 3 days after on a 90 minute flight.
worried sister. Very difficult time cannot broach the subject,
l would have concerns with regard to a lowered immune system following the full course of radiotherapy and exposure to increased risk of Covid by travelling,before even arriving at the question of pressure on the ear.
l well remenber how debilitated l was following treatment and the constant advice to isolate and allow your bodies immune system to recover,and that was well before Covid had appeared.
Seems somewhat at odds to have had a gruelling medical proceedure to enhance life to then turn round and risk it so quickly,but perhaps the reasons for doing so justify it,
