There are 2 adults and 4 children aged 2 to 15 in a two bedroom house with kitchen and living room downstairs. 7 hour op for bowel cancer 2 weeks ago and facing 6 months of chemo. Already acknowledged by housing trust that there is statutory overcrowding but nothing else available. Who can put pressure on housing to improve situation. It must be very inappropriate for a 2 year old to see her parent suffering all the side effects of chemotherapy throughout the night and equally difficult for the patient to have no privacy.
