Cancer and housing

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a operation in July and just finished radiotherapy treatment. I went to the council about housing and I am living in a motorhome. I been told I am not entitled to housing due to making myself homeless .I have been living in my motorhome for  a long time before I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been told your not entitled to housing. I'm afraid that I don't know if this is correct or what circumstances should be taken into consideration. 

    It's worth speaking to Citizens Advice as I'm sure they will be able to give you some information. You could also speak to Shelter - an organisation that deal specifically with housing and homelessness.
