I’m looking for some advice on travel insurance?

I was diagnosed with throat cancer on the 13th of August and start 6 weeks of radiotherapy on the 16th of September.

We were due to go a family holiday to Florida on the 1st of October. We have managed to move this to April 2020 but was wondering how I would stand for insurance cover with my diagnosis? Will I get covered ok? We hadn’t done our insurance for the holiday so have been very lucky to move it and not lose it completely!

Any advice would be so helpful.

There are a few Insurance companies around who will do an on line quote for you - Macmillian name a few on their own website. or you can do a google search , there are a few comparison sites as well : ie travel inurance for people with cancer

I went with INSURANCE WITH so much cheaper than others I tried, some wouldn't even give me a quote.
I've heard MIA and ALPHA are good too.

One tip - don't try and get a quote online. Contact the insurance company by phone as they will ask you questions that the online comparison sites don't and it sometimes leads to 'The computer says no!' Insurance With, as already mentioned, is used by quite a few of my cancer patient friends.
