I’m 55 years old and in remission from small bowel cancer (last chemo treatment in October 2018). What may be the best travel insurance company to get a competitive worldwide quote please for myself and my 12 year old?
It is worth shopping around but please don't be tempted to fly without full insurance cover.
It is expensive but if you get a cheap quote check that they haven't excluded your cancer - a company tried that with me once.
In the past I've used All Clear but a few weeks ago insurancewith.com came out cheaper for similar cover.
I also compare single trip with annual cover - sometimes one is cheaper in the long run sometimes I can't get cover for more than one trip despite my condition being stable.
