Well if you give McMillan a call and ask to speak to their financial team ... they should be able to let you know what you can apply for .. I would have thought you'd deffinatly get carers allowance ... but they can tell you if there's others your entitled too ... if you go on their home page, their free phone number is on there ...

Chrissie is right, our McMillan nurse wrote a report and we receive a benefit.  It's also backdated from diagnosis, so you should get a lump sum.  Ask if there are any other benefits you may be entitled to.  Good luck, Carol

You're welcome, it's bad enough being ill never mind having money worries.  Keep on top of it as our took weeks to write and submit it.
