I think it's dependant on the Insurance Company. Most will only pay out on a claim for invasive rumours so if it's not grown into the lower levels of the tissues they won't pay out. It's my understanding that basal cell is rarely invasive and squamous cell is invasive only if it's left without treatment. Melanoma is usually invasive unless it's been caught very quickly and is 'in situ'. The only way to know if you can claim on your Critical Illness cover is to scour the small print or ring the company. Good luck,

Thanks Angie, am waiting see dermatologist for results and i do have critical illness through work so just wondered is it worth pursuing.  I suppose depends on what he tells me
