Mrs - can my American sister stay with us in the UK?

Hello, I would like to ask your advce in any way. My sister is from Arizona usa. She is 50 years old and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2011 and spread out in other organs like lungs, brain and throat.. She still having a chemotherapy and just to prolonging her life. She's very positive and looking forward to have a normal life. She have no family to be with during her battle, only a kind friend with family to look after too.

My question is:

Is there any chance or what are the possibilities that she can stay with us here in England with all her medical insurance??

    Hi Rosepaul,

I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I suspect that her insurance company is the only source that can answer your question. Whether or not she can come to the uk will depend on the type of cover she has.

I do hope that she is successful, as it is a very tough journey to face on her own.

Do please let us know how you get on with this.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

  • Hi, thank you for the response.. Unfortunately my sister will no longer have any treatments as few brain tumor found recently. No use of having chemo or radiation for her. We have been adviced that she needs a care assistant and her chances to get one is so little..

    Hi Rosepaul,

I am so sorry to hear this. I have lost both of my parents and some close friends to brain cancer and, know just how hard this journey is. Can they operate to remove the tumours, or is this out of the question?

I am saying a little prayer that she manages to get a care assistant soon.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
