Mum was diagnosed 4weeks ago n has been in hospital twice.  Im just wondering how as a carer people cope.   I work in hospital do long shifts fortunately iv been on holiday from work....but looking for coping techniques  with regards working caring n not being best health as well n i need to keep good for mum.  Shes been there from my first breathe and now its my time to be with her till her last

    Bless ya ... we cope coz there's choice .. we just do .. and bet your mum's really proud of you too ..

    But firstly, make sure your o.k .. you have to look after you first, coz if you fall ill, then you can't help anyone else .. it's really hard, but it's doable ... just get the balance right ... 

    It's a rollercoaster ride ... and one we can't jump off of ... but knowing someone's there holding your hand means the world ... and you sound one amazing caring daughter ... Chrissie x
