Thanks a lot wantto for taking the time to come here I am sorry you were having a bad night yesterday - something a lot of our members can relate to I am sure and I know they will be very touched to see this message.
If there's anything we can help with, if there's any information you are looking for, whether it is practical, medical or anything else, we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
We'd love to hear more about your cancer experience if you don't mind sharing it with us.
Best wishes,

Thanks Wantto for this.
I know you were very angry. I stand by my reply to you and I do want you to stick around and share.
I think many come here not just for advice but because they are frightened. There are lots of good listeners who regularly reply in a positive yet realistic manner to try to ease that fear or encourage to seek treatment. Yes, many portray cancer as an adversary to be fought in any way possible. Unfortunately half the population will at sometime face it and not all are able to cope. For many it will be the first time they are aware of their mortality and it is scary.
We do go through a phase of survival and many lucky ones progress back to 'normality'.
This is a chat site where most are not professional medics but there are huge amounts of personal experiences worth more than scientific procedures to those in an emotional state. Where necessary there are nurse overseers and others giving pointers to medical, social and financial advice.
So I hope you stick around and add to this great accumulation of chatter.but please be gentle and moderate.
Kind regards
David
Hi there ... l never read your post, but can only guess ...
I think it takes a real courage to admit you were out of order ... and please don't let that stop you posting .. defra is right in all he says ... we all have been effected by cancer in one way or another ...
You can still put a point across, but every truth can be said gently, and wisely ... there's a lesson to be learned in every mistake, it's up to that person to take it and learn, or carry on not learning a valuable lesson ..
We all make mistakes, that's what makes us human ... so thank you for this post... Chrissie
Hi I read your post last Night in fact I read it went away and came back and read it again, everyone reacts differently some people just get on with it some need help and I think most people on here just need a bit of guidance and people to talk to who are or have been through what they are going through. Let’s face it most people on here have gone through nearly every emotion going. You said about being brave, I was told I was being brave while waiting for results I didn’t think I was brave at all just dealing with something that had been thrown at me. I do however think we all really brave even if we dont think we are because we come on here and we tell people what’s happing to us and in turn it helps people. People who are frightened read that someone is going through the same and it makes them feel like they aren’t alone. Everyone supports each other so please stay around read some more posts it does help, more posts are read than replies put on so please don’t think people aren’t reading your posts because we are just some times a person has no words to answer x
