HPV, abnormal Pap tests and what do I tell my partner

I have just had my PAP rest back and it says I have Low-grade dyskaryosis and HPV positive. I have been with my current partner for just under 12 mths and only had unprotected sex twice. I'm so upset that I might have given him HPV without knowing as I've only just found out. I'm so scared to tell him and can't stop crying. I'm. Wing sent for a colposcopy in a weeks tine.

What should I do.

HPV is a tricky one, you might just as easily have contracted it from him. I'm no expert but my understanding is that HPV can be passed on through simple skin to skin contact. If you've not already visited the site, check out the NHS website - www.nhs.uk/.../Introduction.
As Sandy has said, honesty is the best policy, but don't assume who passed it to whom.
