Hi im just been for major surgery last 9 January 2017 for my ovary cancer. Em i just want and advice because until now my operations still painful but then I need to go back to work because I need money to pay my bills and my rent and buy for food and things and i had one son to look after. Pls give me advice pls because I don't know what to do about it, thank you so much

    Hi. Sorry to hear you've had to have a major operation and hope that you are on the mend.

    Firstly are you getting Sick pay from work? If you are submitting a sick note you should be getting this. Also have you gone onto www.gov.uk to see what benefits you are entitled to whilst off work. I would start there and see what you can find out.
