Travel insurance

Hello all. I'm new to this and this is my first post. I have secondary breast cancer. And I am on my third lot of different chemo dating back to 2008. The chemo I'm on to date is orally taken.  I have booked a holiday to Thailand but I've just found out that I have got blood clots on both my lungs, through the chemo. I'm now on daily injections. My question is where can I get travel insurance reasonably priced. I've had a quote of nearly £30000, which I cannot afford. I may not even be able to fly yet if this doesn't go. Thank you x

  • Welcome to the forum Annie.

I just wanted to pop by and let you know that we have a section dedicated to travel insurance on our website, including a list of specialist travel insurance companies for people diagnosed with cancer which I thought may be useful to you at this time. Just click here to find out more. If you have any questions about the information provided do give our cancer nurses a call.

They are available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on 0808 800 4040, which is free to call from a UK landline.

I hope this helps and you are able to find a more affordable quote soon.
