Palliative radiotherapy for brain tumours

I hopefuly have 5 sessions of daily palliative radiotherapy for the brain booked as from next week  Has anyone else had this and did it improve confusion?  I will be having chemo and herceptin too and wonder if I will be able to cope with the side effects afterwards?  I have only had targeted radiotherapy before (about a year ago) and presume this will affect me differently as it is not targeted and will affect the good cells as well as bad this time  I would appreciate any information  Thank you  Max56

    Hi Max, I wrote a long reply to your post and while it shows on this page, it doesn't come up on the main page. I'm posting this short message to try and bring it to the front. This is weird! It sometimes happens to me that the post just disappears totally, but this has never happened before.

    Anyway, I want you to know I'm thinking about you and hoping the radiotherapy they are planning for you will bring you relief of the symptoms you are experiencing.
