Hi, I have recently had a tumour removed from my bowel and have just been told it was cancer. I am being offered chemo which I think will commence within the next couple of months. I had planned to bring a new kitten into our home in a couple of weeks but am concerned about infection while on chemo. We have a dog about a year old and I wanted to get a cat while the dog is still young. What is the advice re chemo and pets? Thank you
