What can I do about my hair?

My hair was growing back well after chemo although somewhat finer than before.  However, I still have to take Anastrozole daily and have another 3 years to get through on it.  So now I am developing  a sort of male pattern baldness.  From having had a thick head of wavy hair, I've lost it all, seen it come back still with its original waviness, but now it has thinned and there is so little of it  - it looks strangely limp and flat and you can clearly see my scalp.

Does anybody have any suggestions of how to counteract this or cope with it.  Are there any products that can be taken that won't affect the anti-oestrogen purpose of the Anastrozole?  I've seen TV adverts recently for Regaine - is that worth a try or would it be useless and a waste of money because of the ongoing treatment?

Any thoughts or suggestions gratefully received.  If it continues to thin at this rate I'm going to lose it completey and I'm loathe to go back into the wig I had for chemo because I found it so itchy and uncomfortable, especially in warmer weather.  How have other people dealt with this?  And can anybody confirm that once you finish your 5 years of Anastrozole it comes back again?

thanks

Lou
