Life without my mum

My  mum died 4 weeks ago after being diagnosed in Autumn 15 ...although she was 80 she was very fit and active.I was with her when she was diagnosed and in the following months did all I can to help her and my dad ,the last few weeks before she died I was there every day and on the day she left us I stayed with my dad whilst up and the funeral home came to take her away.

My husband is off work long-term and I am in a new job which I love but has it's pressures.

I only took 4 days when my mum died and have just pulled some holiday forward as the last few weeks by the time Friday comes my stress level are increasingly high.My mum was my closest friend and I miss her very much ...I guess it's all about living without someone that you always turned to...

  • I am struggling with losing my mum in November still - she was my best friend and got diagnosed with AML very suddenly last year at the age of 61

My Nan ( mums mum) has died today just four months after and I have no where to turn

The first thing I wanted to do was call my mum . My husband is supportive but now I have a brother and dad and no role model women left in my life. I need someone to talk to that understands . I feel your paiN living without That one person you turn to. I don't know if it ever gets any easier
