Capita application

Hi cutting a very long story short, I applied for PIP2 benefit in July. After a long delay and loss of form they have assessed my application and today a health official is coming to my house for a face to face interview.

Is anyone able to please tell me what the interview will involve. I'm very annoyed as all my cancer treatment has finished so if they had interviewed me months ago during my chemo etc the condition of my health was very different.

Any advice on this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

  • Good luck with the interview, I'm afraid I can't help much as my application went via the terminal cancer route. Apparently different rules should be applied if you have been given a stage 4 diagnosis.
You could emphasise that when on chemo you suffer debilitating side effects and that you could be going back on chemo at any time.

  • Thanks for that. The swines canceled the appointment not long after I posted this. So I shall be having words!

  • hi.

I had my interview but then I didn’t know about

breast cancer as just had lymph node removal.

THey didn’t award me a penny yet I struggled after

the op. But now it’s been diagnosed I have breast

cancer and need chemotherapy and radiotherapy and another op I asked for a reconsideration.

They basically asked me what I put on the form

but I think they have a scoring system on each

question like the more you say you can’t do each question the more chances you have of getting the

Pip. I found it so annoying and hard. How more I’ll

Does one have to be receive this award I thought. I bet there’s people out there who knows how to get benefits.

Oh and they made me do this examination on my grip
