Hot flushes

Hi all, i wondered if anyone had any top tips for hot flushes, been on tamoxifen for a year now, been up and down with flushes, but last 3 weeks have been so bad, they are starting to really upset me. The job i do is with the public and I can't cope with them, any ideas would be most greatly received.... Thank you, penny

    Hi Penny,

    I used to suffer a lot and still do at night with the dreaded hot flushes due to having hormone therapy for my prostate cancer. My doctor did tell me if it got too bad there was medication he could give me to relieve it. But I didnt bother. I can however tell you, my dear wife told me unceasingly, "Now you know what us women have to go through".
