Hi my husband has secondary bladder cancer in his spine ribs and sternum.  We sought advise as to what benefits he would be entitled to?   We were told he should be getting PIP so they filled in the forms for him.  We have waited nearly eight weeks before getting a reply and that was to tell him he has to have a medical even though he sent all his diagnosis letters etc. from the northern centre for cancer care.  I can't understand why they have to send him for a medical has anyone else experienced this and is there anything else he should be claiming?  He has worked all his life since leaving school at 16 he is now 58 and needs a little support in his time of need.  X
