Hello, I am still having cancer treatment but have a good prognosis. My chemo will finish in September 2015 and my Herceptin injections are due to end in August 2016. Before my diagnosis I registered as an Organ Donor and still carry the card today. However, I am concerned that I may no longer be eligible to donate organs in the event of my untimely death & should I be contacting someone running the register to let them know that I have suffered from cancer? I would hate to feel responsible for passing on this dreadful disease to someone else if I am supposed to take action now.
