Working before op

Hi , I am just diagnosed with kidney cancer,  it is very small so I am lucky.  I am going back to work and people seemed shocked that I am and keep asking me if I should.  I have about  6 to 8 week wait for my op . I work in the care profession myself and it is heavy and stressful at times . I am confused about what to do.

    Hi Cazzy,

    You've had some good responses from the friendly forum. 

    One thing you may consider is to have a few days off just prior to your operation. I did this and found it helped as I was able to get things ready for hospital and have a bit of 'mental and physical relaxation' prior to my treatment.
