breast cancer armpit smell!

After I had my lower nodes removed, my armpit stank awful. No amount of washing or deodorant would remove the smell. I happened to look up on Google the problem and came up with a deodorant that has solved the problem. So if any of you have the same problem you can buy PITROCK from Boots. I thought I'd post here as no one ever warned me that this might be a consequence of having my lower nodes removed.

  • Thank you so much!
You are not alone....I will be buying this product for sure!

I am now 8 days post breast cancer surgery, after a lumpectomy and lymph node removal. I am also aware of an odour coming from my underarm on the surgery side. I have seen a forum where other breast cancer patients said that they experienced the same. They said it will disappear after a few weeks. One person was told that it's possibly from the lymph gland itself as it reacts to the trauma of surgery.
