my own cloud

Hey guys,

Sorry, need more help, as before I am still on this testosterone Nebo ijection every 16 weeks, that I feel is makining my weight worse and joints worse, I have been on a site for testosterone Q&A  and someone has come up with the idea of maybe changing this over to a drug called Sustanon 250 does anyone know if this is safe or even in the uk, unsure of asking my endocrinilogist as he is pretty negative toward me anyway, this is supposed to help build bones stronger and also reduce the fat (weight gain) which is playing a big part in myt life at the moment and expecting to be diagnosed as obese and diabetic soon if this cannot be stopped or slowed down. Am still feeling in my own cloud and again went to the GP the other day, she was running late and more concerned of seeing the rest of her patients before she went home, is this world becoming to fast paced and a production line.....sorry rant over and again any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Mark

  • Hello Mark ,

I am one of the information nurses and our moderator Jane asked us to read your post in case we might be able to help you out.

Sustanon 250 is licensed in the UK and has been for a while. Nebido seems to be a newer drug and doesn’t need to be given as often as Sustanon. As you probably know both are prescription only medicines and shouldn’t be used without a doctor’s advice and supervision.

I am sorry you feel rushed when you talk to your doctors because really I think it is them you need to talk to. You might need to be persistent, but I appreciate this can feel awkward.  It is sometimes necessary to adjust the dose or switch the type of testosterone replacement used,  but because all of these medicines are prescription only, your doctors need to sort this out if they agree that this is needed.

I am sorry I can’t be more helpful. Give us a call if you would like to talk anything over. We are here Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and out number is 0808 800 4040.

    Best wishes,

    Julia
