Well my 'bag for life" (still not accepted)is getting easier to travel with,I've travelled out of Manchester and Liverpool airports. The new scanners (arms above head cubicle ones detect the bag)and unfortunately you get whisked away for a private scan with two people present. It usually involved lifting top up lowering briefs so the bag was visible for scanning (didn't enjoy it)but Bravo Liverpool Airport.. December 19th)yes bag detected, the female security asked me to wait whilst she got her supervisor...taken to the room..totally different (they even had the stoma Teddy bears in the room)the supervisor explained she's not a medical person, but she was training All staff on how to deal with stoma scanning,it involved No lifting of clothing just a hand gently feeling for anything hard..ie metal....then my hands swabbed and waist band..all done ,best yet...treated normal well done Liverpool Airport
