Hi folk,

I'm looking at holidays for this summer ️. Does anybody know if the isle of white is covered by the nhs for cancer care?

  • Hi Nevo,

"The Isle of Wight NHS covers people who are legally living permanently in the UK.  St Mary's Hospital is a designated Cancer  Unit and is part of the Wessex Cancer Alliance. Our trust benefits from strong links with two cancer centres, Southampton University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. St Mary's Hospital does not have a specific inpatient oncology ward but does provide an outpatient Chemotherapy Service" - for other information visit Cancer :: Isle of Wight NHS Trust

I have also had to look at this and found that Jersey also is also linked to the NHS in the UK - but not any of the other Channel Islands, as far as I know.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine
