Had CT scan during bout of appendicitis which coincidentally showed a growth on my right ovary. Referred to gynaecology and had copolscopy. Results were normal but consultant followed up.with hysteroscopy. Results today show I had cancerous cells.in the endometrium so will be having an MRI to check elsewhere then hysterectomy within the next 6 week and any further treatment if needed after that. My holiday is in 6 weeks time so my question is do I inform my travel.insurers first then cancel the holiday and make a claim. I would like to sort this ASAP so it's one less.worry as the holiday cost for.me and my wife was a lot of money (£3000).
