It's great to hear that you've recently been given such good news but I'm so sorry to hear that your Dad has been given an incurable prostate cancer diagnosis. 

I'd suggest getting in touch with the Macmillan benefits and financial support team. They will be able to give you, or your Dad, advice about what financial help may be available to him and possibly help with completing some of the paperwork as well.
