im looking for help trying to get cover for my mother who is desperate to travel to spain with terminal pancreatic cancer, with less than 6 months life expectancy. any help gratefully received. thanks in advance.

This must be such a difficult time for you both, but I hope this information we have on our website about getting travel insurance will help.
I'm not sure from your post if you have been in touch with Macmillan yet, but if not, do give them a call as they have financial advisers you can speak to about this and will be able to assist you further.
Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation with their parents or loved ones will be along soon to share their tips and advice but in the meantime, we're thinking of you Neishanoo and really do hope you're able to take your mother to Spain.

I think a lack of insurance shouldn't prevent your mother from travelling? If you're trying to protect against theft/booking cancellations etc, then someone else travelling with her could get the insurance instead. If it's to include medical cover for her, I think that's going to be very difficult as I couldn't find any cover - due to my tumour - so I had to travel without insurance
