Travel insurance refused for person undergoing cancer investigation, no diagnosis made as yet

Hi, does anyone have advice about this. Friend is currently on fast track path for investigation of blood in urine. Awaiting results of CT scan abdomen. Has been refused travel insurance for european trip. Any ideas on how to be accepted??

Hi Hornblower1, I had my single trip insurance cover from Aviva. I stated that I'm awaiting test results and they insured me for everything, but the condition that I was awaiting results for. Hope this helps.
