How long after lumpectomy should I expect to wait until I can fly?

pre assessment nurse yesterday said 6 weeks is normal, but this is the first time I have heard as long as 6 weeks

Welcome to Cancer Chat. Breast Cancer Now also advise a minimum of six weeks.

If you're looking to travel sooner, it may be best to discuss with your doctor or the nurse to check.
