My lovely 65 year old  friend has stage 4 mouth cancer and is  registered blind.

She is struggling financially and would love to get a recliner chair rather than stay in bed.

Do you know if there are any grants available that might buy her a nice comfortable chair?

I've tried turn2us but nothing coming up.

My friend was a wonderful social care worker,

kind hearted and loving.

It would be lovely to return the kindness in a small way.

    If you haven't already, have a look at the section on Macmillan's website about benefits and financial support - there are a number of options they talk about, including grants and loans.

    I hope that some of this can lead to your friend being able to get the chair.
