I've recently had surgery for stage 3 bowel cancer followed by chemo and have thankfully just got the all clear. However, I still feel unwell and certainly not ready to return to work (self employed). I have a fit note that runs out at the end of June although my doctor has indicated that he will probably extend it.
I was awarded PIP, ESA and Universal Credit while I was on the chemo. Does anyone know if I now need to tell them I'm off the chemo?
