First of all congratulations -  your big day is fast approaching! 

You're right, from what I've found doing a little bit of research as you've done, it does seem to be tricky to get wedding insurance if there is a pre-existing medical condition  but perhaps someone else on the forum who sees your post will have some good suggestions for you based on their own experiences? It's great that your mum has been managing her cancer well for the last 7 years so fingers crossed everything will go well on the day. I can understand though why this is making you feel nervous and I hope that you will find insurance or that you can perhaps see if the venues you may have already booked can be flexible in the unlikely event you would need to change the date due to your mum's health. It's a tricky one really and I hope that you will hear from others here who have been in this situation before.
